You found a SecreTag tag. Nothing is wrong.

The small device in your package is a tracking tag. The sender put it there to follow the shipment on its way to you, and your delivery is fine.

What is it?

It is a disposable GPS tag made by SecreTag, a ShipperSecrets LLC product. A shipper drops one into a shipment so they can see where the freight is while it travels and show where it arrived. Its job ends when the shipment reaches you.

What should I do with it?

Send us the code

Type the code printed on the front of the tag and your email, and we will write back with what we can tell you.

Dispose of it

You do not need to send it back. It is a small electronic device, so where your area collects electronics for recycling, take it there rather than putting it in household trash.

Ask us

Questions about the tag are welcome. Write to sales@secretag.co or call 708.275.8418, and include the code printed on it.

Common questions

Why was a tag in my package?

The sender uses SecreTag to follow their shipments and to keep a record of where each one went. Putting a tag in the freight is part of how they ship, not something about you or your order.

Where is the code?

On the front of the tag: a short mix of letters and numbers, such as 3KM-9PX2.

Do I need to return it?

No. SecreTag tags are disposable, and the sender does not expect it back.

Can I see where my package has been?

Send us the code with the form above and we will tell you what we can.

Who do I ask about my order?

The sender. SecreTag tracks the shipment for them, but your order, returns and refunds are handled by the business you bought from.

Something arrived damaged or missing. What now?

Tell the sender first. The shipment is theirs, and so is any claim on it; the tag's record of the trip helps them sort it out.
