Cookie Policy

1) What cookies are

A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Sites use cookies to remember things between pages, such as whether you are signed in.

This policy covers secretag.co, docs.secretag.co and api.secretag.co, the services of ShipperSecrets LLC.

2) The cookies we set

Both cookies are strictly necessary. Neither can be read by scripts on the page, and neither is sent when another site loads something from ours.

_secretag_session

Set on your first visit. It carries your encrypted session and the security token that protects our forms from being sent by another site. It also holds short messages shown on the next page, such as a thank-you after a form, and the page to return to after you sign in. It expires when your browser session ends.

session_id

Set only when you sign in. It holds a signed reference to your sign-in session. It is deleted when you sign out, and it stops working after 14 days without use, when we delete the session it points to.

3) No third-party cookies

We set no analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and our pages load nothing from other companies that could set their own. That is why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals need no special handling here, because nothing on the site tracks you.

4) Browser controls

Your browser's settings let you see, delete and block cookies. If you block ours, the public pages still work, but forms cannot be sent and you cannot sign in.

5) Visitors in the EU, the UK and California

EU and UK law lets a site set strictly necessary cookies without asking first. Our two cookies are of that kind, so there is nothing to opt out of.

California law gives you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Our cookies are not used to sell or share anything, so there is nothing to opt out of here either.

6) Changes

If we ever add a cookie, we will list it here and update the date at the top. The Privacy Policy covers everything else we collect.
